WHY FOLLOW THE PALEO DIET?
At our office we teach and encourage our patients to follow a Paleo Diet/Lifestyle. Research shows that our genes are 99.99% identical to our hunter-gather ancestors. Our ancestors and tribes that practiced a similar lifestyle did not have heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune illness, skin conditions, or any of the modern day diseases that are so common today. With lifestyle modifications you set yourself up to prevent many of these conditions. In fact, the American Journal of Medicine says that over 75% of all deaths in the United States are due to our lifestyle. Because of this, we are passionate about empowering our patients to take control of their health and we are here to help you on your journey.
